Course Overview

The Hong Kong Government has launched a three-year plan to conduct energy-cum-carbon audits since September 2012. The objectives of energy-cum-carbon audit are

· to analyze energy consumption and carbon emission,

· to identify various carbon reduction measures and

· to implement suitable program for achieving energy saving and greenhouse gas reduction.

Through the use of data collection and analysis, the audit helps to develop a systematic review of energy consumption systems in commercial buildings and to make continuous improvement.

This webinar intends to give the attendees a briefing regarding the guidelines on energy audit and carbon audit and to share some findings from actual cases. In addition, the general audit process and the energy-saving improvement proposals for building owners and the industry will be covered. Riding on this important topic, a formal seminar shall follow.
